Students in need should never be afraid to ask for help and success in school should not be dependent on your income bracket.

We spend time with Matine Khalighi, an incoming freshman student at Harvard University and Executive Director of the youth-led nonprofit, EEqual, a 501c3 organization and movement dedicated to level the playing field for students experiencing poverty and homelessness across the United States. Matine’s journey in social entrepreneurship started in middle school, where he started a nonprofit project after feeling a calling to try and make a difference for people experiencing homelessness.
